Captains have many options for dealing with problems in the right seat. Those options include but are not limited to: a "cockpit door closed, come to Jesus now" meeting; ALPA professional standards; a call to the Chief LCA; call to the CPO; and the nuclear option of "get off my airplane." Any escalation that involves the phone better have also included a previous conversation (or five) with the accused, face to face. Do not be passive. Don't be passive-aggressive. Assertively hold your crew to your standard.

FO's have most of the same options, after the fact. FO's can chose to remove themselves from the trip that includes the overbearing Captain. (I guarantee that will get some attention.) But because they aren't the Captain, they get to avoid the known azzhats.

Which brings me to my point. Don't pass along a problem. Put some light on it. Let someone (ALPA, DAL) know with names, dates, details and possible solutions. Let your buddies know. Let the accused know. This is our house. Why do we tolerate people pooping in the living room?
