Fwiw, AA hand flies down to Cat 3 mins, that's b/c they didn't pay to maintain the autoland with the 2 autopilots.

As I understand it, all other 737 operators can either hand fly the Cat 3 or autoland, they have both options.

I'm shocked that AA didn't pay extra....just shocked.
