Every regional pilot that wants to move on to mainline wishes mainline to take back their flying, that being said regionals are here to stay so if flying will be outsourced everyone hopes it goes to their regional so they can get their time and get out. Alaska pilots need to get a scope clause in place, operating in good faith that the company won't outsource will get them burnt. Its the CEOs etc etc job to make the most profit for stakeholders and so they will always look to save costs and unfortunately outsourcing is one of those ways.
Nope. But you should know the name of the airline on the side of the plane you fly. But then again, you don't care that the rest of us get dragged down by skywest benefits and work rules. How's that decade to get to a 6% 401k match? Don't expect the rest of to care to much as compass does the same to you.
