Unfortunately he is correct. DL just hired a FO from us with no 121PIC time at all. From his qualifications the only factor that seems to be different is demographic factor.

Flycameron I'm with you on this trying to figure out what gives to get Invite. I have all the requirements that "competitive" individuals are supposed to have. I have volunteer work in corporate, community, and even at Delta, but it's got me no where. I have several other aspects that "look great", but heard nothing. Also, have networked extensively with individuals in HR, Flt ops, and hiring, but not even a peep. App has been on file for 7+ years and updated very often.

I don't mean to seem like I'm ranting, but it is very frustrating when you are passionate about something and nothing seems to come of the pursuit. I have apps in with many other carriers, but delta is my main objective and always has been. I have heard the "gotta network, gotta network" for a while now and have been like crazy, but it hasn't done anything for me for the past three years.
