It used to be by age but was changed after 2001 because some people thought that was age discrimination.
Because it WAS age discrimination, back when our retirement plan was based on being over age 50 to collect.
Now that it's a 401K plan, well, who cares?
Our retirement plan should only be based on years of service, not age AND years of service.
