Make sure you have all the Captain flows down cold for upgrade. I practiced Captain flows in the plane at cruise the last month or so before upgrade and it was a huge help. Also during classroom training we came in an hour early and practiced flows and systems in the class mock-up.
As far as Sporty's I think you can save your money.... You are already a Captain anyway P
