Let's see if I can help this thread a little

I am amazed at how health concious a lot of pilots are considering how "big/fat" most of America is haha I think it s great that crews pack so healthy....I am not yet an airline pilot , but am working towards it.... I have been bodybuilding/working out since a year before college, so about 7 years....I really think that health and nutrition should be more of a focus with pilots and itd be great if they did what Police and Fire Departments are doing now which is bonuses/incentives for working out and staying healthy ( I know with the pay these days already that this would never happen, but itd be nice), it all plays a part in the human factors side of things....but anyways enough of my rant here's what I pack on an average day of flying the King Air Part 135 Chaaaataaahs...this is usually 1-2 day trips, but are easy to pack stuff(I know some have already been mentioned)....
Breakfast-
-Packet of low sugar oatmeal
-banana
-protein powderpacket (sometimes)
Mid morning snack
-apple or some sort of fruit
-packet of raisins
Lunch
-tuna packet
or
-lean meat sandwich turkey, rst beef, etc.
or
-grilled chicken (as long as oyu have ice packs)

-wheat thins or pretzles
Mid Afternoon snack
-protein bar/power bar ( I think balanc bars are great
Dinner-
Same as lunch pretty much
-Evening snack
-almonds
-cottage cheese (if it stays cold)
-peanut butter and jelly sandwich
These are just a few ideas...I dunno I know its easier on day trip or w only 1 overnight to pack , but I agree with the person that said if the hotel supplies breakfast and fruit..TAKE IT~!!! Hope I helped a little..fly safe everyone!
