Ya, I can tell anyone wishing to resign exactly what my experience was:

1. Was never taken out of CASS. Had no problem getting home and everything went well there.

2. Earned vacation pay will be paid to you provided; A) you give at least a FULL 2 weeks notice and B) You do not call in sick during those two weeks. The thinking on the latter is that the company requires you to use vacation instead of sick pay if you do.

3. The one big thing for me was that I had to fight multiple times to get it all straightened out. Meaning, I had to send emails after each paycheck after I left to get it right. Not a huge deal as they fixed them for me, but just watch out to make sure. They were actually all very nice and made sure they got it right in the end. It just took two extra paychecks to do it. Had one problem with my hourly rate and the second was my missing vaca pay.

All and all, not a big problem for me. I left on good terms and the CP (newest one that I know of right now), base manager, and payroll manager were all very nice and helped me through the whole thing. I am not a pro-regional anything, I am just telling you exactly my experience. Yes, I left months ago and haven't looked back. Just kind of funny, because I found these posts and at least wanted to get what I have seen out there..... Easy for me to say now though..... I am at my dream job and couldn't be happier...... Good luck to all!
