Do you think there is enough ship jumpers to staff the 77 airplanes PSA is scheduled to get?

Ok three questions.

Do you think there are enough entry-level aviators to fill in FO positions when the ship jumpers are no more?
As to your first question, probably. Subject to the aircraft continuing to arrive on property, which is subject to them filling classes. See this link.

As to your other questions, I don't have the breakdowns of other classes, but my class on the 13th of October had GoJet, Envoy, Endeavor, and L-ASA people in it. Some Corp, some Mil, and about 40% R-ATP CFIs with less than 1,500 hours and a degree from the right school.

I asked one of the training point point blank about an ATP written program and he said the company has one in the works.

My own thoughts: We'll have a decent amount of lateral move guys for a while. The ones getting in now, and for like the next 6-8 months are in a good spot, the ones beyond that will at the very least see short times on reserve.

The pool of entry level aviators doesn't seem to be thinning just yet. We'll see.
