All regional flying is gained at the expense of another group. If it's actually a new contract its at the expense of the major pilot group. If it's a contract gained from another regional then it's at the expense of their group.
This is like a physics lesson.. Flying can neither be created or destroyed.. Just transferred from one company to another.. Whew! I just blew my own mind!
