The only thing that's "different" about Allegiant is the pilot compensation and work rules (and not in a good way). Per employee, A.L's 2012 compensation was 11 TIMES what Gary Kelly's was. Per dollar of revenue generated, it was 8x as much. They are definitely not sharing in the sacrifice. While MG doesn't take a salary, his stock is worth well over a quarter BILLION dollars. That's quite a return on the few million he put in back in 2002.
