You are over thinking it. I remember my interview way back in 2008 and it was just " draw the system you are most comfortable with." I drew the DA42 fuel system and went waaaaay in detail and spent about 10-15 min drawing it out while he went out of the room. He came back and said wow looks like you know it and that was it.
