This is the key right here, and I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet in all of these pages.
I can barely draw a stick figure, let alone an aircraft system. I drew a PT6 and it was laughable how bad it looked compared to the guys in my group. When the time for the 1 on 1 interview came, I was the one that actually pulled the drawing away from the interviewer and said "It's pretty obvious that I can't draw, and I'm pretty sure you want to know about the engine, not the drawing, so how about I just tell you everything I know about this motor." He laughed, agreed and was happy with my thorough description.
Everyone interviewing, quit worrying about your art skills, and brush up on your knowledge. They're not going to not hire you based on the fact that you can't draw.
