Unfortunately, if you haven't flown with the individual making the rec, UPS doesn't accept it. Maybe if you ask around at your unit, the other guys mightknow someone that knows you.

The guy who recommended me at 5X never flown with me, and that was the first thing I told them when they brought up the rec during the interview.
