Anything more than that is covered.

Your premise that a huge medical issue will bankrupt a pilot using the CDHP, and wise CCB will end up paying the bill, is flawed.

The CDHP is intimidating because sometimes there are big bills to pay but with the money you save on premiums, 99% of the time it is better than the PPO.
Glad your mom and dad are around to "back you up", so while you think that 10K isn't enough to BK someone, many would disagree, including those currently in BK. When a medical calamity occurs, many costs other than CDHP covered ones pile up, especially if your ability to work is reduced. I stand by my original belief that CDHP is great for healthy people and potentially not so great for sick/injured people. Back to basics, if the company is offering/pushing it, whats the shortcoming? Ie, pay raise for EMB120 F/Os......
