Exactly. No offense, but 777 guys don't get it.
Believe me, I used the cc plenty, but again, after 15+ hour duty days the last thing you want to have to do is deal with scheduling's ineptitude. We had a running joke that scheduling worked on one time zone, Norwalk, and if you weren't on it, your hotel would be.
I've taken taxis all over cities looking for hotels. I've been rerouted at the last minute on different commercial flights resulting in hours long delays, I've charged airport breakfasts to the card... never a word. Great financial accountability.
I've had beverages with many 777 crews (mostly in LAX, Embassy), and they've always been nice, but it is a COMPLETELY different job.
