We would have removed any risk of RJ scope degradation by adding the E170/175 to the mainline fleet, going forward. I would have been happy to fly the E170 for mainline.

ALPA would never survive a regional/mainline integration, I highly doubt they would even attempt it. ALPA's regional plan is to do nothing, and hope everything works out.
