I don't understand the JetBlue bashing.
The company needed to change some things and we are doing just that. Some of you Spirit boys forget what goes up can come right back down, your 2 year upgrades won't last forever and things can change and stagnate at anytime. If this works JetBlue will be a much stronger airline and we really will be "following" you into the Carribean. Anyway we are all just pilots, and I am glad you guys are doing well but remember it can all change tomorrow.

and we are well aware the music can and at some point will stop. Its just funny to see all these airlines do exactly what we are doing after criticizing us for doing it. hypocritical much?
Either way I think Jetblue would be stupid for not trying to increase their profits, the question is, what exactly is JetBlues business model? Is it LCC, quasi-legacy?, little bit of both? One thing I admire about Spirit is they know exactly what the model/plan is and that's a good thing, seems like JetBlue is trying to do both, maybe it will work, maybe it won't but it seems they are moving away from what made them so popular to begin with. Of course losing money to "stay true" to your roots doesn't make sense either.............
