Of course they don't lower your bill for no reason. You constantly have to shop them and call and request changes when they come up with better plans.

You paid $750 for your new phone any way you slice it, over and above the cost of keeping your old phone and migrating to the exact same plan you just migrated to. Actually $790 if they charged you a $40 fee to do it. If you don't make any changes, in 12-24 months (depending on carrier and plan) your monthly bill should automatically decrease $20-40/month when you are done paying off your phone.

They are incredibly crafty at this. If you wanted to, you could have bought your phone outright for $750 and your monthly bill would be lower. But they don't tell you that because doing so would reveal the true cost of your phone, which would likely result in lower phone sales. Very few people realize they are paying almost $800 for an iPhone 6, so you are not alone.
