I see your comprehension skills are about as good as your analytical skills. Your posts read like Mike Boyd (master of the obvious and lacking credibility or fundamental reason), yet you seemingly want to be regarded as an industry prophet.
Regarding Republic...your conclusion fails the logic test. When I made my post, RAH had not yet had trouble recruiting which is why I included yet in my post. That they lowered their minimums a month later doesn't change the fact that when I responded to your post they hadn't "had a problem yet..."
Regarding Eagle...you claim that by January 2009 upgrade at Eagle will be 3 years (DOH 1/06). Yet in your comparison between our posts you aptly point out that there are 200 numbers between the junior awarded captain and a January 2004 hire. Wanna guess how many were hired at Eagle between 1/04 and 1/06? For your prediction to come true, there will have to be two years worth of hiring + 200 upgrades in the next 19 months. Do you really think that's going to happen?
I stand by my pledge - if somebody hired at Eagle in January 2006 upgrades before I do I will buy you a case of Bud Light (if you choose such swill) and will UPS Next Day Air or personally deliver it to the destination of your choice.
Are you really a CFI? I admittedly was pretty mouthy as a CFI, but I didn't go around telling airline pilots what they should or shouldn't do...
