Parker want's scope relief from AA to grow and increase the regional flying. That will give him and the execs 1 million dollars ADDITIONAL in revenue profits per AIRPLANE per YEAR. Time that number by 300-400 planes and you'll see they're fighting over some serious money (3-400 millions ADDITIONAL profit per year). With that kind of regional growth Mainline won't grow as planned and it will create INSTABILITY at mainline down the road.

What you should do is to have them place the LARGE regional jets (E175's) on the mainline certificate. Now that will give you STABILITY and JOB PROTECTION.

Giving up scope or changing the definition of a LARGE rj (from 76 to 81/84) is the last thing you wan't to give up or do. Good luck with the battle and best of luck to you guys/gals. Stand Strong. -D
