Mind you I am not hoping that any of this comes to fruition but this is a disturbing document.

This is boiler plate language that existed in all of the prior CPAs xjt has had with cal/UAL. This language about termination rights, indemnification, breach, cause, commodity events, labor disputes, etc. is all standard. I know because I've read the CPAs.

They want to buy the ASA pilots QOL with their SmartPref system so they can continue to fund their DC plan, OJI bank and a few others. It frees up enough money for them to do so. Got it, thanks Captain Tony!

Flame bait but I'm bored so I'll bite.
Why are you throwing me into this conversation? That's not even what Captain Tony said. The PBS process agreement had you keep flight line for the duration of the JCBA. My question is, what will you grieve next if you lose the current arbitration?
