It allows you a cost savings so enormous it would allow you to keep all your "outliers"-- At the expense of the ASA pilots. Why is that so hard? Just take Flightline as your PBS system, tweak it so you get everything you want (excepts Globalization) and make it the best system out there? You can have ALL the rest, ALL of it.

Well that's progress then! We can bring you up to our contract standards AND each of us gets to keep our separate bidding systems. What's wrong with that?

Again, both MECs are doing what's best for their pilots. Nothing less nothing more. Stop taking it personal. There is a process and it's working it's way to completion. But you guys keep coming in here and whining about it. The fact is that the erj MEC doesn't feel that your system can do the things we do. We can trade 24/7 regardless of bidding. You guys are locked out. That's just one example. So don't say we can have everything when that's a blatant lie!

Let the process work and see how the chips fall. We may end up with flight line or we may have two separate systems. Just chill out already. If your systems is really that awesome and ours half as horrible as you make it out to be, then we will all be screaming for flight line. So what's the dam problem?

As the JCBA got voted down, things died in it, the PBS process agreement included. You keep referencing it and hoisting it like its some kind of banner and its dead... Well we'll find out soon enough anyways.

Have no idea what JW looks like as I've never met him and probably won't ever. Don't care, but apparently his testimony on the stand was awfully bad. But you never know in arbitration which way things will go, we'll likely find out in January. According to the transcript, however, I'd say you're looking at a Hail Mary to win it. But you simply never know.

I reference his post because I'm making the point that your MEC has previously agree to a process in which we may end up with two separate bidding systems. Just as the two MECs have previously agreed to other sections of the contract such as pac check, off, filling of vacancies, physical standards, drug testing, etc, those sections will not change in any new TA because they can both agree on them. Well, your MEC can do that also with the PBS process agreement. But they changed their mind now. That's the only reason why it went to arbitration. The only difference is that this was negotiated as a separate agreement and was inserted into the TA. The arbitrator will answer this for us and I'm positive that if you lose, your MEC will find another excuse to grieve it some other way. So can you guys give it a rest already?

This is a lie. In either case, crj pilots keep flight line.
