What you and yours fail to realize is that ALPA misrepresented themselves and ALPA should have been the one you sued for that promise....NOT USAPA. Labor unions (the ENTITY) cannot make you STRIKE. They just can't.
Here is the reality check for labor: LABOR UNIONS only work if every member has UNITY in their PRINCIPLES and the ONLY principle through the history of LABOR UNIONS is the time they spent working for a company (merged or not) WITHOUT strike breakers (who have less time with the company) coming in a doing THEIR jobs because the current employees are asking (RIGHTFULLY SO, I MIGHT ADD) for SAFETY, pay and benefits (in that order) so destroying the basis for FUNDAMENTAL UNION SURVIVAL.
You cannot expect new hire employees to support YOUR seniority if your not willing to support theirs no matter what the companies do.
