Your point is well taken. I took out that paragraph you quoted, but it's probably a good example of Delta pragmatically finding revenue in (literally) unconventional ways. I don't really know how this latest move helps Delta's commercial or regulatory objectives, but the pattern has been pragmatism and commercial tolerance. In practical terms, for pilots, the pattern has been to treat all of our passengers with respect, and make them feel welcome.
Only makes good sense.
