The assistant FAA FedEx POI can't believe what we (some of us anyway) writing in these safety reports. They see all of them. He is former PanAm and United type. He says these guys should save this stuff for a NASA form, and only submit what is required by the FOM, and nothing more.

Can you tell what a great job the FO and jumpseater did in an ASAP report?
I've done two maybe three FSRs since I checked out a year ago, all 3 were the minimum required by the FOM (my FO did a great job in all three, especially the birdstrike)! Mainly because I'm lazy!

And to keep you guys guessing how much of a buffoon I am rather than confirming it for you!
