She just put a spin to it for it to sound like yesterdays announcement for the ERJ guys. if it is a new contract then it's a one year contract, still pretty pointless, one airplane growth of flying for one year.
Although it is a spin of information, it's still better than the information conveyed by BH. When we got an additional 2k block hours from endeavour, there was little said. No positive attitude, just collect the 400k paycheck and stock incentives and let the company run it's course. It's sad I first found it out from the union when we started bidding. They are not the messengers on flight operations.
