Big difference in the cost of living and annual earned income between where I live, and the rest of the country. The Rio Grande Valley is listed as one of the poorest areas of the country.
So to put it into perspective, if my area wanted to be on average with everyone else, they would have to add $30-$50K to the yearly income.
$125K here = $155-$175K in other areas of the country.
