Even after you have been screened using MCAT and undergraduate GPA, those that manage to be accepted into a medical school, only 80% will graduate. I can't imagine how many each year aren't admitted. When I was a flight instructor, I had some of the dumbest people on earth eventually get the skills and knowledge necessary to pass a checkride. It may have cost them $30,000 per ticket, but they were loaded and even after several "come to Jesus" meetings, they eventually went back to their country of origin with a fresh certificate.
