Then the company confirms the rumor and clearly states that the deal is not yet inked but we're gonna do you a solid and let you know what's going on. The deal falls apart and we ***** and moan because they told us before the deal was made. Then people wonder why the company is silent on pending deals?
Part of me is optimistic that they do want this place to succeed, and that they were the ones who walked away from this deal. I don't want them to be forced into some deal that Delta can turn around in a couple of years and rip the planes out from under us. The email also said "We look forward to sharing details with you on the extension of our flying with American Airlines as they unfold," so maybe there's something there. I'm not overly concerned with the 2015 date.
