When I got hired at EAL, it was bigger than DL, more O&D traffic in ATL than DL, the "Wings of Man". Disappeared 5 years later, as did many other notable companies. Don't assume anything.

Yes, few stay at one corporate for a career, though I've met many that have and they retired very comfortably, BUT no seniority when the job ends. Walk out the door and you don't have to start at the bottom.

All that said, right now, with these conditions, getting hired at a legacy is, without a doubt, is the deal, IF you get hired. LCCs, I skeptical of, some will disappear, bet on it. VA hasn't shown a profit yet, that which cannot continue, stops.
