No one said "STAY"...only advocating 9E is a decent stepping stool to get experience and move on. What is so bad about that? Isn't that what a regional is designed for when it comes to our career? With the hiring that is expected at the major level, wouldn't you want to get the experience and move on?
Take it back one step....would you tell a newly certified flight instructor to go to the best school to fly with the best students? NO
A new CFI would go to a place to get the time and move on. Same with 9E. Get your time and move on. But don't wait for some magic bulletproof plan that will make a regional a "great" place to work. It just doesn't exist. Not at ANY regional. To say otherwise is just absurd.
