Nobody said it's all great. Even at Mainline you will find things to complain about. Just go read the major forums. I just listed all the facts at 9E to show it's not as bad as some are saying on here. As stepping stool for the next stage in your career, 9E is not a bad place to choose. EVERY employer has their dark side. But don't go to a regional to make a career out of it. Choose one that has a viable business plan for some foreseeable future, get your experience and move on. It's that simple.
In this career, there are bound to be hiccups. Economy, terrorist threats, consolidation and new FAA regs. Very big variables that could affect your career. But if you can stay focused and work hard, the career can be rewarding.
But jumping from regional to regional expecting fast results is not the way to do it. I've always believed slow and steady is better than fast and turbulent. Taking the "It's my money and I want it now" approach will hurt you in the end. You'll end up paying a chunk of what is owed to you when if you would have been patient, you would have had it all.
Again, 9E not a bad place to START your career once you see all the facts listed. Get your experience and move on. Simple...
For some reason you guys think that those of us who left wish bad things for Endeavor. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Endeavor has great people and I met some great friends there... I can't speak for everyone on here, but the point of my posts are for you guys to get out, and fast. You guys are just wasting time in your career by staying, and I hate to see it. I find it so hard to believe that you guys are buying into this crap. They want you to stay, and don't care that your wasting valuable career time doing it.
As far as new hires... If I was walking distance to one of their bases I still wouldn't go there... I know you guys wanted it to work and I did to over the 7 years I was there. I was one of the lucky ones to go to a major, but even if that had not happened I would have been gone.
Take the blinders off guys.
