It may be worth mentioning that I've noticed folks from the very same airline(legacy, lcc & regional) don't even do the 'nod/hi' in the terminal and in some cases go out of their way to avoid "contact" lol
. Although we all share the same "union" via job description, socially we're quite a bit different it seems IMO.

I fly for Spirit, and I was in the F terminal in PHL a couple of weeks ago. No fewer than 4 Air Wisconsin pilots walked by me without making eye contact while I tried to say hi. Maybe because I didn't have a hat on???
That being said, the guys that let me sit up front from GSO to PHL were probably the nicest guys I have ever met. So it's the same everywhere, good guys and bad at every airline...
