In my experience I have found to Canadian border agents to be complete A holes with the exception of a few. Once inside Canada the people seem to be great and the U.S. agents on the way out are typically pretty good. They all live in the same city so that variable can be removed.
I don't know why they act like small jhonson Napoleons. Maybe because their vests are too tight or because their black rubber gloves numbs their hands for date night but, yes. They are mostly DB's
