I'm curious if a reference of that nature would make any difference. I'm inclined to think not since my relative isn't a pilot and is not directly involved. Also, I can't be hired by UPS until they retire and could that effect the recommendation?

It certainly couldn't hurt to have a relative high up the food chain at Brown. It doesn't matter if that relative is a pilot or a boxhead. A recommendation in the system is a good thing.
As far as the nepotism rule goes...I thought UPS did away with that rule a couple of years ago. Can any other Brown guys chime in here on this?
