We need to be proactive and clearly delta couldn't care less about it. What other recourse do we have?
OK so let's recap:
There is an isolated issue of E175 pilots only not being able to be listed on DL jumpseats/cass for some reason.
The issue may or may not be limited to only those few individuals who choose to not pay the $50 yearly travelnet activation fee.
Regardless of the technical source of the issue, there appears there may even be a very easy workaround simply by giving the agent a parralel employee number.
You want to remedy this by starting a jumpseat war to bring DL pilots to their knees, supposedly cripple the DL operation, and in a show of strength and power drive your percieved enemies to their knees in a "no justice no peace" fit of insanity. Copy.
But before you do that, how long has this been going on? How many people have actually been effected? How many of those effected could get around it by giving an alternate employee number or whatever? If a DL pilot refused to pay the $50 activation fee, do you know for a fact that they would still have unfettered jumpseat access with every agent at every station on every carrier in the system?
Calling for a jumpseat war is childish and is going to be counter productive for you. Get the chip off your shoulder and work within your little student council group through the proper channels to fix it the right way instead of acting like some self righteous victim about it and threatening not just OAL pilots but your own pilots in an unwinnable pathetic jumpseat war of mutually assured destruction.
