Talk about a drama queen. We are bringing light to an important issue for 200 pilots and 60 more a month. That's all. No one is listening. And the "fix" isn't a fix. It's up to the gatr agent if she will 'bend the rule' and use the N number rather than the way every other SkyWest pilot does it. Sometime it works. Sometimes it doesn't.
There is not war here. But thanks for trolling.
If it works, get your company (and/or DL and UAL) to issue a memo to gate agents saying its within the rules. Or get them to fix it. I thought JA was a Midas Touch genius that had your back? Is he cool with the union side of SKYW holdings not having this issue, but his favoriets having it?
And is this really about those ultra few people that don't want to pay the $50 a year for travelnet access? I'd pay $50 a year for unlimited non rev access to any other major airline system in the country if I was able to. This is hardly a line in the sand issue you're making it out to be.
As for drama queen, that's any idiot threatening a jumpseat war. I'm against a jumpseat war under any and every concieveable circumstance, except for actual scabs and those specific individuals that deny others a jumpseat. Anyone else that can get on, gets on. Period.
If my company or one of its connection affiliates had an issue with jumpseat listings and people at my airline weren't able to do it in certain situations, I would
never advocate a jumpseat war on others.
