It all seems pretty silly to me. I currently work for a 135 operator with CASS and ride in the back of DL flights every week. Why can't they just list you for the JS through CASS and put you in the back if there's a seat open? As soon as they put in OO to look for you in CASS does it just flash a huge frowny face on the screen??
Because SkyWest flies for every major airline in the U.S. and I'd imagine it is a mess to figure all that out. If they are flying the E jets they are on a non Delta fleet. So, they shouldn't have Delta non-rev benefits, just United. They should however be able to jumpseat. I'd imagine the issue is due in part to this fact. The feet dragging may be due to the fact that SkyWest guys that are on the United only side were being positive spaced to training on Delta aircraft. Delta did not like that abuse. Used to happen all the time between DEN-SLC and ORD-SLC.
