E2 doesn't fit under current Major airlines scopes....
Anyway, you need shinny jets to attract brand new CFIs... I don't see why anyone who doesn't qualify for the CQFO program come to TSA to be a plain FO (unless they live in STL).
The E2 TSH has on order only has one more row and different engines than the regular 175. The E2 can be configured for 69 seats also. It fits under all scopes.
