Talked to buddy who used to work at USA3000 when he was there. Says he was basically brought in to shut the place down. I hear the same is true for North American. Why would you 'bring in' somebody to shut the place down? Don't airlines fail on their own and you just read about it the next day in USA Today? The board of directors voted this guy in & Allegiant makes bank.
The operation could use a good dose of accountability vs. finger pointing. A strong military background, such as the new COO's, could be just what we need.
Just thinking out loud - I have no idea.
