I know this has probably been beat to death but now that I am 737 type rated, I need to ask. Can you still upload your documents even if the pilot hiring window is NOT open? Would it be ok (wise) to go and try to meet a Chief Pilot say in LAX or ANC. I am going to try and attend the fair in Feb if possible but if I can't I would like to explore other options. BTW, I think Alaska has the coolest uniforms in the business now.
As a new hire, I can say absolutely go meet at least one chief pilot, go to Puyallup in Feb, Women in Aviation in Mar, etc.
I don't think you can upload unless you have an app on file. If you do, I am not sure if you can add info. However, be aware the 737 type rating may not make too much difference ... Direct question asked to a CP that I overheard a few months ago.
