I apologize, but it is hard to take this post seriously. Test pilots undergo a regimented training program equivalent to an advanced degree. What are the parameters of your test flight?? What specifically are you looking to test before taking delivery? The only reason why I am asking, is because this will dictate how the flight will be organized. If no briefing has been established between the captain and the first officer with the company, then I am at loss.
My sincerest advice, if this is a true post....to go out to an warning area off the coast and call the TRACON in control of that area and tell them a day in advance of the test flight.

And who would be doing a test flight in a jet with one of the criteria being, "without pay nothing." Your company wants you to take up a 50 million dollar jet burning thousands of dollars in jet fuel but they don't want you to pay a possible $20 landing fee? Sure.
