SGU doesn't want our payrates to go up, but (the inanity of the water thing notwithstanding) there has to be someone there who recognizes that if they don't spend more money on us somewhere that there will be an exodus when mainline really gets hiring. They talk a good game about "well, we'll just shrink the airline" but no flying=no business=no profits, which is why they're taking on 12 Endeavor planes, plus the Alaska 175s, plus the United 175s are still coming online while we still can't properly staff the flying we have now. They're talking out of both sides of their mouths, like usual. And don't kid yourself, the 227 current Brasilia pilots will make a dent but won't even come close to satisfying the need we have for pilots to staff our projected fleet unless we lose PHX. (And I'm not saying I want us to lose PHX, I'm just saying they've been pretty quiet about the future of our AmeriAirways flying.)
