Average upgrade time at most LCC (excluding SWA) is approximately 7 years. No brainer to make a move. Secondly, there are literally thousands of current regional Captains with thousands of hours of TPIC. The legacy carriers are not beating down their doors. I agree the 1000 TPIC is a resume builder, but I wouldn't pass up an opportunity at a LCC to wait for an upgrade. Obviously dependent upon your current seniority and outlook.
