Go talk to a network guy about this. When we pulled down trans Atlantic flying, AF was supposed to also. Instead, chasing decreasing profits, they increased their flying, further opening the gap. Their attitude was, "That's your problem to fix."
That's why we should have language that states something along the lines of "in the event of non-compliance by the company, the company will immediately decrease the number of flights offered by our JV partners to Delta passengers."
It's amazing that we don't have specific language for non-compliance by the company. Even after we have known that they will not comply with our current AF JV, we sign another JV without specific penalties for non-compliance. We never learn from our mistakes. We are clearly leaving WB jobs on the table and it's costing Delta pilots money because of the lack of availability of those jobs.
