While there is still unstacking on holidays, and you can't always protect someone who just doesn't know how to bid, in the end it's not too bad. I'm sure the company would like to run it as advantageous as possible to them and call it good.
That said, the actual trips the company builds, well, that can be a whole different story.
You obviously have no idea how ALPA works on our property. In an ideal world, I agree with you, but obviously you have a different version of ALPA than we do. I would NEVER trust our ALPA people to set proper parameters. If you don't believe me, just look up a few posts above this one re the "judas"/ALPA reference and you'll see there are others who feel the same way as I do. Keep contributing to the conversation if you like as I'm interested in learning more about PBS IF it works well and protects seniority at other carriers, but around here at Alaska I'm not so optimistic. I'll do my best to keep an open mind. Forgive me though if I'm a bit jaded.
