I hate it, and I'm personally sick and tired of watching a great nation founded on principle by principled men transformed into something grotesque by men without conscience.
What you're experiencing is a symptom of a much greater sickness in our land. And though I'd be wrong to call it indentured servitude, it must be a close cousin. What else do you call it when the malevolently powerful exploit their fellow humans without conscience?
It used to be corporations had a moral compass, were involved with community, and generally operated to make a quality product or service with the customer in mind.
But something happened in the last decade or two where corporations (by law now?) have to do everything for the benefit of the shareholder. But all that does is create a race to the bottom where nothing is ever planned in advance, the only thing anyone cares about is this quarters earnings.
