So I've been asking around about the topic of management pilots flying during a strike. It sounds as this may have been acceptable in the past, 60s, 70s, 80s. It seems the Spirit strike has changed this however, not one Spirit pilot, management or not, crossed the line. I feel that ANYONE who flies struck work is a scab, anyone. I'm curious as to the intentions of our managment pilots. Thought/Opinions?
Chances are Spirit just ceased all flight operations, thereby creating a situation where nobody could fly an airplane even if they wanted to. Also, I think modern strikes (such as Flight Attendants) only strike particular flights or days, therefore not crippling the entire company.
