If you're talking about the Holiday Inn, you are absolutely correct.
If you can afford to bring your car, do so. There is a lot of cool stuff to do in and around Erlanger and Cincinnati if you have wheels. Otherwise you'll be stuck walking to Subway and Rally's.
During ground school you can walk to everything if you're staying at the Fairfield Inn. Although it is nice to not be held hostage by the hotel shuttle to and from the training center.
